We think of ourselves as a family, and treat your home like one.
EDL Construction Corp (formerly known to many clients as Calderon & Sons) grew out of Elio Calderon's years of hands-on building work. Elio stays hands-on with the work, and our values of honesty, transparency and quality come straight from him.
We're a general contractor specializing in home remodels, especially kitchens and bathrooms, with the experience to take on additions, structural changes and full renovations. We coordinate the trades, the permits and the inspections so you deal with one accountable team.
Our best reference is our clients' satisfaction. Realtors, property owners and homeowners have trusted us for decades and keep sending friends and neighbors our way.

What areas do you serve?
We work throughout the San Francisco Bay Area: San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay and the East Bay. If you're not sure whether we cover your address, call or send a message and we'll tell you right away.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. EDL Construction Corp holds California contractor license CSLB #778430, is insured and bonded, and is a BBB Accredited Business. We're happy to send current certificates for your records or your HOA.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. We pull the permits, schedule the inspections and meet the inspector on site. Permit timelines vary by city, and we'll give you an honest estimate up front.
Can you work with my designer or architect?
Absolutely. Much of our work is built from a designer's plans and finish schedule. We review the plans before pricing so selections and quantities are right the first time.
How does pricing work?
After the consultation you receive a written, line-by-line estimate. Payments follow a schedule tied to progress. If something changes during the job, we write it up and get your approval before the work is done.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the size of the project and the season. Tell us your timeline in the request form and we'll give you a realistic start window when we call.
