 Elio and his crew did an excellent job on our 9 month extensive home remodel. His crew arrived on time every day (they did not miss a single day), were very skillful and friendly. Elio is a very experienced hands-on manager and addresses any issue that might arise on the spot. He also has a great sense of design and provided us with helpful advice.  E.D.L Construction did an excellent job painting the exterior of my house and doing some repair work. It was a big job and they kept good communication with me concerning my wants. Elio was very conscientious about staying within the budget and assuring that I was happy with the outcome. I’m sure I’ll use them again in the future.  

 Elio was a wonderful contractor and I would gladly recommend him to others. He helped us with a home renovation that included adding windows, recessed lighting, sun tunnels, and breaking through a wall to add a new internal door. He also put down new wooden flooring where there had been carpeting on slab, upgraded vanities (from single to double), bathroom lighting and accessories, one closet renovation, added ladder access to two attic entry points, and painted 4 rooms. Elio set realistic expectations, completed the work to the discussed timelines, kept us informed of any changes and consulted us regularly on any decisions. He was very flexible when we added or modified our plans, and always maintained a calm demeanor and a smile, and was attentive to details, and kept a clean workspace. He was a pleasure to work with and we were highly satisfied with the final outcome and would definitely hire him and his team again.

 Every morning when we walk into our bathroom, we feel like we have woken up in a 4-star hotel.  It was a pleasure working with Elio and his team on our 6-month home remodel that was initiated prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Elio and his crew were conscientious about abiding by the guidelines and requirements for working under the strict conditions to ensure they kept our family as well as their crew safe.  Elio and his crew worked on our bathroom and kitchen remodel in winter and spring 2020. They were extremely professional, always on time, and were prompt in communicating any issues that they found. They always checked with us before proceeding on something that required client input. Elio is extremely knowledgeable and we trusted him completely when it came to matters of his craft. His crew always had a positive attitude and worked diligently to complete the project on schedule. Elio takes great pride in his work and has great attention to detail.  Christmas Day 2018 nobody was home at our 1905 Victorian building in San Francisco. A small flex tube behind the toilet broke. The water was running for 4 hours from the third floor to the second floor to the first and basement. It was a nightmare to come home to Christmas night. After calling the insurance, state farm recommended a few contractors and also said we can hire our own contractor. I said lets just pick what state farm suggested. My husband had good instinct and started to look around. We asked 3 contractors to come to the building for estimates. Elio Caldeon and Sons was the third estimate we got. We did'nt know Elio but after my husband talked to him and we got a fair estimate for the work from Elio we hired him. State Farm approved the contractor. All 3 flats flooded mostly in the bathroom and kitchen. Elio did a excellent professional job. From the plumbing, Electrical, sheetrock,painting He also laid the laminate floors, replaced kitchen cabinets, and replaced dry rot floor in the kitchen that the insurance would not pay for. We hired him for a few extra jobs at the same time that needed to be done. Elio put laminate wood on the stairs of the second floor and replaced kitchen cabinets and plumbing that State farm would not pay for. Elio gave me fair prices and the work he did was way above my expectations. Dealing with State Farm was a head ache. It was a pleasure dealing with Elio. Since then we have had some extra jobs for plumbing and 220 electrical. I know when I hire Elio he is going to do a excellent and complete Job. I have had contractor plumbers and electricians stir me in the wrong direction on this 1906 building. Telling me what the building needs. There suggestions did not make sense to me. My husband and I inherited the building from my father-inlaw. We have had to do upgrades to the building. Being new to owning a rental building we have learned along the way. My only regret is not knowing Elio Calderon and sons when we first started to have problems with the building. The flood in the building is what brought us together Once you get a good contractor, I will stay with him for my lifetime. I just asked Elio this morning how do you know all these things and how to fix the problem. Did you go to training school. Elio said no. 20 years’ experience and I always want the customer to be happy and do a complete job so I don,t have to come back to do work over. 

 Elio and his team have been amazing to work with. He handled a big renovation project for us with incredible professionalism, initiative and competence. The work entailed adding a new kitchen, enlarging and remodeling a bathroom, and rearranging some walls. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the project. He handled some complicated project elements with creativity and perseverance. His positive attitude and can-do approach were also a huge pleasure. I would recommend him highly and would be very happy to work with him again. 

 I met Elio Calderon a few years ago when he and he and his crew worked on a total remodel of the house next door. They worked there for over a year and they were always pleasant and courteous. My neighbor was totally pleased with their work. In 2018 I had Elio give me a bid for a kitchen remodel I had in mind. We agreed on a price and Elio and his crew started work in May 2018. Elio helped me out with several decisions that had to be made and the work was completed in time and within my budget. I am very happy with my new kitchen and have received many compliments from my friends. 

 We have utilized the services of EDL Construction (formerly known as Calderon & Sons) several times over the years, and we have recommended them without hesitation to friends, relatives and neighbors. They have done everything from small jobs such as replacing a sky light in our old townhouse, remodeling our master bedroom and bathroom in our old house, and most recently they came to our rescue when half of our home flooded. Once our home was dried out professionally, Elio and his team replaced all the impacted sheetrock, refinished the hardwood floors, and re-painted our walls. As always, the work was done efficiently, on time, and within budget. We will be using them again for our next project. 

 My father and I have used Elio and his team for numerous projects at our apartment buildings for over 18 years.
